The Sofa Wall: Get the Biggest Decision Right

The wall above the sofa is the living room's main stage, and one rule solves most of it: art should span about two-thirds of the sofa's width, hung 15,25 cm above the backrest. One oversized piece , a bold Alice or a wide landscape like Ocean View , reads confident; a coordinated pair reads curated. Wide-format lovers will find the sofa-ready shapes in our horizontal canvas collection, and matte canvas deserves a mention here: it absorbs lamplight instead of bouncing it, which framed glass never learned.

Mood-Zoning the Rest of the Room
Great living rooms zone by mood: energy near the conversation area (our abstract wall art carries color without demanding an opinion), calm near the reading corner (see nature & landscape art), and one personality piece where guests can't miss it , Welcome To The Madhouse has broken more silences than any icebreaker. Renters and commitment-phobes: start with the crowd-approved picks in best sellers and build outward.

The Heart of the Home, With Heart
Every artwork supports a charity partner , 202,000+ artworks sold for charity through WWF, Rainforest Trust and more. Gallery-wrapped versions of the whole room live in living room canvas.

What size wall art for above the sofa?
Two-thirds of the sofa's width, hung 15,25 cm above the backrest. For a standard three-seater that means 100×70 or larger, or a pair of 50×70s.

What style of art suits a living room?
Match the room's job: abstracts for color without controversy, landscapes for calm, one statement piece for personality. Most great living rooms mix all three.

Canvas or framed prints for the living room?
Canvas absorbs lamp and window light (no glare at movie night); framed prints add a classic gallery feel. Mixing both adds depth.

How does my order support charity?
Every artwork funds a charity partner , 202,000+ artworks sold for charity through Art for Causes
