Melting colour, impossible landscapes, mushrooms the size of houses
and eyes where eyes should not be, all from independent artists and printed
on fine art paper or canvas. Every order supports a charity partner, which is
the least trippy thing about it.

What is psychedelic art
Psychedelic art grew out of the 1960s poster scene: saturated colour,
swirling patterns, distorted lettering and imagery that bends reality. The
modern version is less about concert posters and more about mood. Euphoria
and Indigo Nights work with colour alone, Shroomland Drive and Phantasmagoria
build whole worlds, and Recurring Dream sits somewhere between a dream and a
map. If you prefer the stranger, quieter side of this, the surreal wall art
collection is next door.

Trippy art without the dorm room look
The difference between a trippy poster and trippy wall art is usually the
frame and the restraint. Pick one piece with a lot going on and give it a
plain wall, a simple black or oak frame and some space around it. Pull one or
two colours from the print into cushions or a rug and the room looks planned
rather than decorated at 2 am. Living rooms, studios and creative offices
carry the big saturated pieces best. In a bedroom, choose the ones with deep
blues and purples, which read as calm even when the subject is chaos.

Prints, canvas and sizes
All motifs are fine art prints on heavy matte paper, and most are available
as canvas or framed. Matte paper keeps saturated colour from glaring under
lamps, which matters for this kind of art. Sizes go from small prints for a
gallery wall to statement formats. Space fans should also look at the space wall
art collection, where the colours stay cosmic but the subject is the universe
itself.

Questions about psychedelic wall art

What is psychedelic art?
A style defined by intense colour, swirling or kaleidoscopic patterns and
imagery that distorts reality. It started with 1960s poster art and lives on
in contemporary illustration, which is what this collection shows.

Is trippy art the same as psychedelic art?
Mostly. Trippy is the everyday word for the same visual language: surreal,
saturated and a bit disorienting. We use both so you can find the collection
whichever word you search.

How do I hang psychedelic art so it looks good?
One strong piece, a plain wall, a simple frame and a little breathing room.
Repeat one colour from the print somewhere else in the room.

Can I get these as canvas prints?
Most motifs come as fine art prints, framed prints or canvas. Choose the
format on each product page.
